Focus on the content. Enjoy it. Ignore the grammar, words, or pronunciation. Don’t try to analyze the language and don’t repeat the words in your head. It’s not important to learn that word right now. It will come up again in the future, and by repeating it in your head and trying to memorize it you are missing all the other words that come after it. Don’t take notes. Besides distracting you from the task of focusing on the meaning of the content, they won’t be useful. The best activity to do after getting comprehensible input is not reviewing or practicing vocabulary, but rather getting more comprehensible input.
