Get lots of hours of very comprehensible input every day. The more interesting and relevant to your life that input is, the better. If your life situation allows you to, the very fastest way to acquire a language would be to live with a family in the countryside in the country where the language is spoken, do everything with them, and have them talk to you all day like they would to their children.
